About the Job:
We are currently seeking a Solutions Architect to support our client. The right candidate will possess a passion for technology and the ability to understand and assess new technologies. If you are a driven individual who has a desire to work with some of the best Cloud Architects in the market this is the position for you! 

This position is a balanced blend of infrastructure and automation, where you will become a trusted advisor and cloud services guru. You and your team will be responsible for the design and implementation of IaaS and PaaS solutions in an Agile environment.


What You Will be Doing: 
  • Design and develop DevOps based solutions using Chef, Puppet, Ansible, GoCD, Jenkins, and similar products.
  • Develop automation and repeatable processes/scripts to enable solutions that deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor Client applications.
  • Design and implementation of customized technical Cloud solutions for clients both on premises and public cloud environments.
  • Solution Delivery using AWS Cloud services in Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 environments.
 

About You:
  • Considered an expert in one or more automation frameworks (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) with 3 or more years experience.
  • Comfortable with Software Development Life Cycles, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
  • Solid understanding and experience working with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Considered an expert in a combination of database and platform application services is a plus
  • You likely have in depth understanding of authentication and authorization services; e.g.; SAML, LDAP, AD, ADFS, & the backend associated APIs that connect various messaging, cloud and social platforms.
 

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or additional 5 years of relevant Information Technology experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • 5 or more years of experience in Windows or Linux based operating systems
  • 4+ years’ working experience in programming or scripting languages
  • General skills and awareness of requirements management, defect management, and configuration management processes
  • Active Government Clearance must be obtainable.
Preference will be given to candidates that also have web applications, database, and support skills
